There are three opportunities that come to mind and the following may prove of interest. Each link will require members to take some actions as regards registration or expressions of interest.

The State Government through the Treasury, lists details regarding their “Tasmanian Government Tenders”. Again with this site, you will have to register and nominate what areas align with your business and activities. Please click on this link.

Importantly, there is a Tender Masterclass that is being held in Burnie this coming Wednesday, 23 March. This session provides those new to government tenders, or tor organisations requiring a familiarisation, to help local businesses win government contracts. Please click on this link for registration details.

As another option for members to consider, there is also a similar tender service provided by Councils through their “Local Government Tenders”. Again, a similar process of registering, but when completed, notifications would be sent automatically to you for consideration. Here is the link.

The Department of Premier and Cabinet regularly emails their “Grant Alerts” which provides a great lists of grants that may be applied for across a range of community and business activities. Please log on to this link.

It should also be noted that the Federal Government has similar access points for tenders and grants and we will aim to discuss these opportunities in future bulletins.
