Update from President Craig Heppell:

November could be a milestone month for the Central Coast Chamber. We are on track to have 150 member businesses on board! The Chamber’s goal is to Support, Recognize and Empower local businesses to help them better serve you as the customer and be involved in the wider community. In October, The Chamber welcomed the State’s Deputy Premier and Small Business Minister, Guy Barnett, to discuss the local business conditions over a couple of cold ones at The Pier. Mr Barnett was impressed with growth in member numbers, the scale of our Awards Night in September, and the recognition of the wonderful businesses who serve the community via the Awards. Our next meeting, Wednesday the 5th of November, 2025, is ‘on the move’, and we’ll be visiting A Bark Above Dog Training – 65 Von Bibras Road,Ulverstone. We will be there at 6pm and all Chamber Members (and those who would like to be) are welcome to attend this very interesting facility. Let us know if would like to attend by sending an email to admin@centralcoastcci.com Also, The Chamber sponsored a free sausage sizzle at Penguin on Friday the 17th of October to commemorate the BIG 150th Birthday of Penguin, with the major event on the 25th of October. Big thanks to Men Care Too/Mr Perfect for cooking up a storm. You can’t beat a locally made sausage sanga with onions, mustard and tomato sauce! And don’t forget, if you are a local business wanting to get into our Chamber Christmas Spirit/Competition – get in touch so Tweak Coldhill can deliver one of our timber trees for you to decorate and display in your shop front or office. ????Business Wall Of Fame Unveiling????
A fantastic evening spent celebrating just some of our Central Coast Businesses who have helped to shaped this beautiful place. Thank you to all contributors: Robyn Sinfield (Home Travel Company) Craig Heppell (CCCCI president), Mayor Cheryl Fuller, past and present CCCCI Committee members, promotions officer, Colab Hub Ulverstone and of course, to all family members and business owners on our wall and all who attended the evening. This is an ongoing initiative and we can’t wait to see its future growth.
Make sure to check it out! Apex Park next to Mc’Carthy’s bakery Ulverstone

Have you seen this sign yet?

Probably not, but you are about to!

Participating Central Coast Businesses will be offering 5% off to their customers/clients who pay in cash on Wednesdays.

If you own/run a Central Coast business, now, more than ever you should be encouraging cash transactions – and that goes for the shopping public too. Why?

*Businesses save on transaction fees
*Businesses can better control their profits
*Support the local economy and community
*Shoppers can ensure their purchases are their business
*Keep cash alive

Local businesses can get involved simply sending The Chamber an email at admin@centralcoastcci.com

Shoppers! Ask your favourite businesses if they are doing ‘Cash Wednesday’.

Here is a post that has been doing the rounds online that really hits home why keeping cash alive is so important to us all…
